LOCAL ISSUES UPDATE
- Labour's abolition of the 10% threshold has had an effect on 5.3 billion low paid working class people. This is creating people to pay more tax per year. The independents in Hull also do not agree with this abolition and are relieved that the Labour Government have done a U turn.
- Hull City Council road network is feeling the effect of years of Labour's neglect and the Lib Dem past two years of hesitation in not pursuing Government grants .
- Independents in Hull seem to be the only solution to bring sanity to the council for the benefit of people of Hull.
- Grass Verges damaged by contractors vehicles in the Derringham Ward has been brought to the attention of the West Area Team by Cllr Rouse-Deane that these need to be restored in order to bring this area back to the condition it was prior to the floods.
