Thanks to Mr Walby who brought it to my attention, which I omitted to inform the residents of Derringham.

Major Footpaths in the Ward have recently had or having new dressings which will give 5 years life and be non slip when it rains or is icy. One main footpath being Priory Road.

LIGHTING: Recently I had a tour of University Ward to see the improvements in their lighting.
We are urgeing to improve the Ward over the next five years to hit black spots in the Ward, this will be after consultation of most needed areas of the Ward, with a meeting expected in April/ May.
Recent areas are to be included are Westlands and Hove Road in making streets safer for residents.

Current Ward Issues.

Priory Primary Playing Fields-
recent visit with the Headmistress on the 9th March regarding the Waterlogged fields which are unusable for 7mths of the year, I gave my support to her plans and offerred any assistance.

Hotham Drive Area - Recently reported Anti-Social matters in this area, have caused concern, so much so that Police presence was used this weekend to help resolve the issue.
Informed by Police that the Operation brought some positive results.

Grassed Verges - It has become of great concern regarding the disgrace of how our area is being treated and actions are afoot to redress areas like Wold Road, Wymersley Road, Priory Road by installation of bollards, if only drivers would be more considerate when parking for the amenities they have in the Derringham Ward.

Waste Management. - Once Again Waste Management in the West Area are sticking stickers on Bins saying no Garden Waste. When Officers were approached, they said that there was a problem and they'd get back to me. Will Keep you informed!
